    Ormai questo film, ammannito ad ogni natale in tv, lo si dovrebbe avere imparato a memoria, eppure la trama molto originale, le caratterizzazioni tutte indimenticabili e sopra la media e il ritmo senza alcuna pausa unito a dialoghi scoppiettanti convergono su un nuovo rivedere , magari anche solo distrattamente, cullati dalle vicende arcinote, alla ricerca di qualche altro ennesimo piccolo dettaglio sfuggito le ultime quindici o venti volte.
    E' forse il miglior film in assoluto di Landis, farcito di humor nero, satira, movimento e movimento, perfidia che induce allo sghignazzo e altro ancora.
    A margine mi piace citare Mozart sui titoli di testa e un vecchio brano di Sylvester, e l'effetto esilarante della risata doppiata di Murphy, ancora non fastidiosa come qualche anno dopo.
    Ottima commedia.
