Movie plot
With his eye on a lovely aristocrat, a gifted illusionist named Eisenheim uses his powers to win her away from her betrothed, a crown prince.

Qui è un ottimo protagonista aiutato anche da una trama che rasenta il fiabesco e supportato da valide spalle (Paul Giamatti su tutti).
Bella la fotografia, gli effetti, la trama in sé e per sé che svaria tra il thriller e il sentimentale toccando qui e là l'azione in modo leggero e misterioso per come deve esserlo un film su un illusionista.
Ottimo.
Jessica Biel è la tipica ragazzona americana che suscita pensieri perversi.
