Movie plot
Grace is a religious woman who lives in an old house kept dark because her two children, Anne and Nicholas, have a rare sensitivity to light.

Questo è uno dei rari quelli, ed è supportato da un'attrice alla quale anni fa non avrei dato cinque centesimi e che invece è da considerarsi a tutti gli effetti una grande attrice.
Un encomio speciale, tuttavia, va al regista, capace di creare un'atmosfera opprimente con poco o nulla, e questa è la sua grande bravura.
I pochi attimi di luce, qualche porta aperta o chiusa rendono giustizia ad un miracolo di storia che a mio avviso travalica dal semplice genere di 'horror' per toccare anche temi importanti come quello della consapevolezza.
Gran bel film, senza una goccia di sangue, eppure ansiogeno e opprimente quanto basta.
